Thanks to Guido for the reminder that today is the (?) anniversary of J-Land. I'm not sure which aniversary this is. The number isn't important. What is important is that a very special bond was formed in a web space that was created and then removed by AOL. But the spirit of what J-Land was remains because people who met and cared about each other kept in touch. Like any community there were a few that wanted to make waves. There is no perfect place and there are no perfect people.
It is nice to be reconnected with a greater number of J-Land survivers through Facebook. It is also nice to go down memory lane and recall some of the great times we had in J-Land. Happy Anniversary J-Land!

@Lyn - I'm surprised I was even able to post to my blog since it has been abandoned for so long. I never was able to get back on the blogging bandwagon after J-Land was gone :(

@Donna - yep wild, good, bad and ugly but the good outweighed the negative.
time flies and I am going to remember that I need slow down and appreciate it! loved the j-land days! xo
Welcome back to the land of blog, almost 6 years after your last (Blogspot) post, Vivian. Jland was and is special, and as long as its people are around, it will persist.
viv, you have been missed. i wanted to say how much i adore your icon picture. every time it pops up on my screen, i have to smile. it is just one of those smile-provoking photos. thanks for joining in the celebration. you were an integral part of j-land and it is good to once again reconnect. now, about those vivi awards, and the ball.........
