OMG I'm bSpotting!

I never thought I'd see the day that I blogged anywhere other than in J-Land. Oh there was the day that I created a journal off of Oprah's website. But I hated that software and never went back. Truthfully, the only reason I created this one today was that I wanted to leave a comment in my friend Jennifer's bSpot and I didn't want to be 'anonymous.'

I don't do change very well. I hated that commenting here didn't seem to be as easy as it was over at AOL. But that was just my first impression....an impression drowned in the anger and assorted other feelings I was having because of what's been happening over at J-Land.

There is more of a learning curve with the Blogspot software, but I actually like it more than the AOL Journal product as you have more control over formatting and such. Alas, the Alerts made it easy to keep in touch with the AOL bloggers I enjoyed. I'll get there, though.

{{{Vivian!}}} Happy to see you, anywhere you are. Whether it be, AOL J in the UK or blogspot. :-) I agree so much with your audio entry. I don't have the energy to get upset and stressed over this. I have been having terrible problems with my aol browser. I can only use Netscape and IE without problems. I have joined blogspot and Live Journal. My user name is aims814 at both. I'm easy to find. If I had time, I'd post the link to you. I'll try to remember to email them soon. As for now, the oven timer is going off and Stephen knows that mean the chicken is ready! LOL Love you, dear and I'll be checking in with you!

Hi Viv...I was sort of a lurker back in Jland on your Journal..I'm still writing over there too, but protesting all the way. I, too, started a blog because I wanted to leave a comment on Spencer's poetry...well I'll jump back and forth cause I miss everybody...Sandi

Vivian,
Good to see traces of your finger prints over here. Acutally, I am enjoying myself here, inspite of the goings on at AOL. I discontinued my AOL account on Saturday, I am officially a road runner now. Kept my screen name, just added the @cfl.rr.com instead of the aol.com. Must say, I was extrememly nervous about the move, but all in all, this Auntie is surviving quite nicely. It's good to see you posting somewhere. I have you on alerts with Blogline, and will now add this one just incase you decide to stay.
Blessings,
Auntie Lyn

Vivian,

I'm delighted to see you over here. I'm still reading you on AOL, of course, and I'll read you wherever you go. But it's nice to see that you're maintaining a residence in this neighborhood, too!

Dear Viv,

With you in mind ... we made a master list of and for JBloggers. It is just new this morning and combines Judith's, Gabreael's, and Patrick's lists as well as the names I received from Pam's Directory. It is my hope that together or singularily that Judith, Gabreael, and/or Patrick now take the ball and run with it. I am stepping back. This list is only of the people known to have moved recently from AOL to elsewhere.

At the bottom of the list there is a link to a set of codes that I invite any JBlogger to copy and paste to template and make the suitable adaptions as to their special needs. The set was made that much more special in that as a marker, we used your and V's metamorphysis butterfly.

Again, take a look, but I would be very honored if you and others would utilize it in strengthening the community. As always community ought thrive. I see the list as a good homemade broth for the soup! And, it would please me to no end if it were to be a VIVI Brand. :)

Our love,
Ayn
